WORKSHOP AND PRESENTATION BY NIRBHAY PANDE FOR BIRLA WHITE STUDENT’S COMPETITION - YUVARATNA 2017 AND YUVARATNA NXT 2017 (7TH Jan 2018) The schedule was divided into two parts, 1) Presentation for Yuvaratna competitions. 2) On site Workshop for demonstration of the products. The theme was Indian Tradition and Culture‟ for a convention Centre was given to the students for designing competition.
The workshop was inaugurated by . Dr. B.N.Divekar- President of Ferrocement society, Prof.Ar. Sanjay Mhaske-HOD and the members of the Ferrocement society. The intention of this workshop was to expose the students to the new technologies which can help them to become entrepreneurs. It was conducted in two sessions , first session is about theory of ferrocement and in second session student developed ferrocement sculptures.
Workshop 2The photography workshop was organized by Department of Architecture at MIT on 9th and 10th September 2016. The workshop was conducted by renowned photographer MR. MAHENDRAA DENGLE. He is a freelancer and a specialized director of photography. He has an experience in Hindi film industry with Mr. Jagdish Mali at Mumbai . The workshop helped the students to develop creativity, understand visual proportions and various camera settings and terminology of professional photography.
The clay modeling workshop was organized on 2nd April 2016. The workshop was conducted by internationally famed sculptor by Mr. Sunil Deore. Objective of this workshop is to develop creativity of the students & understanding various forms and shapes through clay modelling. Ar. Kapil Gujrathi The intention of this lecture was to increase the knowledge of the students about the integration of architectural design along with various new building technologies and materials. The lecture helped the students to understand the basics of design, utilization of spaces, reconstruction of spaces, ventilation for spaces (stack effect& cross ventilation) and implementation of design in architecture. An interactive session between Ar. Kapil Gujarathi , students and the faculty members of Dept. of Architecture was arranged . The lecture was concluded with the presentation of a memento and vote of thanks to the guest.

• The Aurangabad caves were selected because of its archeological importance and the stone construction to understand the textures.
