Objectives

• To play an active role in improving the quality of research and development (R&D).
• To formulate and implement R&D policies and encourage faculty to pursue research that will ultimately be useful to society.
• Collaborate with Industries and undertake relevant research projects to address some of the challenges of industry and society.

Functions

• To organize the events/workshops to create awareness among the faculty and student to develop the research and innovation culture.
• To coordinate between the internal and external parties to establish Industry-Institute linkages, collaborative research, and innovation projects.
• To motivate faculty to develop project and write projects reports for research grants.
• To monitor the effective utilization of funds of externally funded projects.
• To disseminate the information and documents for promoting research culture

Achievements

  Two research projects are in operation at MIT, sponsored by various funding agencies. Several faculty members of MIT are recognized as guides for PhD in their respective subjects by university. Students are working under their supervision. Several of faculty members in the institute have contributed research papers in international and national level journals and conferences.
